Congratulations to Whitley Bay FC Third year in succsession they win the FA Carlsberg Vase
A plan to paint St Mary's lighthouse with blue and white stripes has been suggested by local
business Finlays Decor. Following on from the town's third success in a row at Wembley, shop
proprietor Mic Finlay said "it seems a fitting tribute to the team, we will
of course supply the paint if I can borrow a 120ft. long ladder".
